Baodafor New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has completed a comprehensive upgrade of its warehouse management system this month, as the company continues to expand its business scale. The upgrade covers inventory classification optimization, standardized inbound and outbound processes, and the establishment of an information management platform, significantly improving warehouse operational efficiency.
The upgraded warehouse system now features refined zone management. Raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods are stored separately, equipped with temperature and humidity monitoring devices to ensure food-grade packaging materials are stored under optimal conditions. For products such as cling wrap, ziplock bags, aluminum foil, and baking paper, the system has also established dedicated storage areas to effectively prevent moisture damage or contamination.
In terms of informatization, the company has introduced an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS), enabling real-time inventory data updates and full traceability. All inbound and outbound operations are completed through barcode scanning, substantially reducing error rates and improving inventory accuracy by nearly 40%. Additionally, the system automatically generates inventory alert reports, providing timely replenishment reminders when certain product categories fall below safe inventory thresholds.
A Baodafor representative stated that the warehouse management upgrade is a key component of the company supply chain optimization strategy. By enhancing warehouse efficiency, the company can better meet domestic and international customers orders for food-grade packaging materials, shortening delivery times while ensuring product quality. This upgrade lays a solid foundation for capacity expansion in the second half of the year.
