In the increasingly competitive food packaging market, Baodafor New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. continues to deepen its lean production management philosophy, using 5S on-site management as an important tool to enhance enterprise management standards. Since the beginning of this year, the company has fully implemented 5S management standards at its Xiamen production base, achieving remarkable results through systematic promotion of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

Walking into Baodafor's production workshop, the first thing that catches the eye is the clean and organized working environment. Raw materials are neatly stored in designated areas by category, finished product boxes are stacked at uniform heights with reasonable spacing. Work areas are clearly marked with yellow lines, tools and materials are subject to fixed-location management, and every item has a fixed storage location and identification card. On the production line, workers strictly follow standardized operating procedures with standardized and efficient movements.

"5S management is not simply about cleaning — it's a systematic approach to workplace improvement," explained Baodafor's Production Department manager. "Through continuous 5S promotion, we have reduced time wasted searching for materials, lowered error rates, and more importantly, cultivated employees' problem awareness and improvement consciousness."

During the promotion process, Baodafor established a dedicated improvement team that conducts weekly on-site inspections and scoring, with results incorporated into team performance assessments. The company also regularly organizes 5S knowledge training and excellent case sharing sessions, creating a good atmosphere for all employees to participate in improvement. Employees have shifted from "passive acceptance" to "proactive participation," forming habits of continuous improvement.

The core concept of lean production is eliminating waste and improving efficiency. Baodafor combines 5S management with lean production tools, implementing advanced methods such as kanban management and cellular manufacturing on the shop floor, effectively shortening production cycles and improving equipment utilization rates. When customers visit, the clean and organized production environment leaves a deep impression on partners and wins more orders for the company.

In the next step, Baodafor will continue to deepen lean production management, extending 5S management to office areas and warehouse logistics operations, promoting the enterprise's overall management level to a new height.
