Baodafor New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. recently organized 5S management training for front-line production workers, aiming to further improve the standardization and normalization of workshop on-site management and create a clean, orderly, and efficient production environment.

The training was led by the Production Department Manager, focusing on the core concepts of 5S management: Sort (Seiri), Set in Order (Seiton), Shine (Seiso), Standardize (Seiketsu), and Sustain (Shitsuke). The training adopted a combination of theory and hands-on practice, with the instructor using actual case comparisons to demonstrate the differences in workshop efficiency and product quality under different management approaches.

During the "Sort" session, the instructor emphasized how to distinguish between necessary and unnecessary items and clarified material stacking standards. In the "Set in Order" session, the instructor demonstrated positioning management methods for tools and raw materials, requiring the "three fixed" principles—fixed location, fixed container, and fixed quantity. In the "Shine" session, emphasis was placed on combining daily cleaning with equipment maintenance to reduce foreign contamination risks.

After the training, the Production Department set clear requirements for each team: conduct 15 minutes of 5S self-inspection before and after each shift, record discovered issues, and complete corrections on the same day; conduct a comprehensive inspection and scoring once a week, incorporated into team performance assessments.

A Baodafor production leader stated that 5S management is the foundation of lean production and a guarantee of product quality. Through continuous training and inspections, workshop management standards will steadily improve, providing customers with more stable and higher-quality food packaging products.

Next, the company plans to extend 5S management experience to warehousing and logistics operations, achieving full-chain standardized management goals.
