Xiamen Baodafor New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has recently completed a comprehensive upgrade of its warehouse management system. By introducing intelligent warehouse management software and optimizing inventory structure, the company has significantly improved supply chain responsiveness and operational efficiency.

The warehouse optimization project covers three core modules: standardized location coding, rework of shelf-life management processes, and upgraded picking path algorithms. Through scientific planning of warehouse space, Baodafor has achieved standardized classified storage for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods, dramatically reducing material search time and mis-shipment rates.

In terms of inventory management, the Baodafor team restructured safety stock settings and introduced dynamic replenishment mechanisms to ensure continuous supply of critical raw materials. Meanwhile, the system automatically tracks material expiry dates, with the First-In-First-Out principle strictly enforced to guarantee food safety attributes from the source.

A Baodafor production manager stated: "Warehouse management is the core hub connecting procurement and production. This systematic upgrade enables us to respond to customer orders more quickly while providing stronger support for the consistent quality of our food-grade packaging products."

Looking ahead, Baodafor plans to deeply integrate the warehouse system with its MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to achieve full traceability from raw material entry to finished product delivery, pushing supply chain digital management to a higher level.
